Hats are the palate cleanser of knitting - quick, easy, and portable as well as a distraction or rest from more challenging projects. The Cardamom Coffee hat by Caitlin Hunter is one of my favourites so I've put together yarn kits with baa ram ewe Pip Colourwork, which is the perfect compliment to this project.

I must confess, it took me a while to decide to go ahead with this project, because I wasn't convinced it would be "wearable". Turns out it is one of the cosiest, most comfortable things I've ever made.
